Did Julia Walton's wedding today

Today started early..I had Brandy Clark-Dye come here for yap- 6:50 am!!! I know crazy!! But she wanted to look pretty , so it was fun!!! After i finished her i packed up and went to Harbour Towers to do Julia and her bridal party..I was all done by 12:30.. They looked great..Julia is so beautiful and looked amazing... I am a wee bit tited as Britt had stomach cramps -( read- too much movie popcorn-lol) throught the lovely wee hours of the morning.. Of course she did..Murphy"s Law loves to prove it"s point..So as my alarm went off at 6:20 i was a little tired, but after my coffee I was ready to go and beautify :)

The Fun Flirty Shoot was Amazing!!!

We had so much fun!!! I started off at 9:30 am doing Tara Furtado's makeup and Christina Coutto did the hair..She then got dressed into various outfits!! OMG!! She looked so hot.. I did a grey smokey eye on here with 2 different lips for the shoot.. Her hair was softly curled and partially off her face. Sarah took amazing photo's too. Then on to Allison Cairns. I did a beautiful soft smokey eye on her with a brighter pink glossy lip. Her hair was curly naturally so Christina just added more structured loose curls. Then was Jessica. I did a smoldering purple smokey eye on here with a peach lip. Her hair was long so Christina did the loose big curls look. So beautiful..Then I did a few shots :) I did my makeup in like 10 mins but that is what you can do when you are a makeup artist!! lol..Christina too - is a pro and threw some loose curls in my hair in just under 10 mins as well.. I also had a client come for Grad makeup at 1:50, so time was tight:) I did some fun flirty shots as well..I have always been Sarah's model since we started our friendship- over 15 years ago when she went to school for Photography:)


So we will be posting the pics soon and also having a blog for the site..We are still trying to pick the name for our site and company..As we don't really want Boudoir in the title, beacuse it won't be strictly Boudoir photo's at all..But rather more fun and flirty pics to one's comfort level:) Just more beauty inspired too!!

Tomorrow is the Photo Shoot!!!! Soooo pumped!!!

Tomorrow is a big and busy day..WE will have 3 models plus i will do some pics too! It is to take pictures to promote my next venture :) Me and my best friend from Vancouver photographer sarah Murray are teaming up with hairstylist my friend Christina Coutto to do Boudoir inspired beauty sessions..They will be boudoir inspired but with a fun flair...I am going to have fun doing beautiful sexy makeup and Christina will do sexy fun hair..I can"t wait we are sooo pumped..Sheila who"s sister is Charlotte ( from Victoria Costumes) was one of the models but she is super sick :( So we are getting another model and i want to do some too!! I am a ham in front of the camera.. Sarah has always used me as a model so I am pretty comfy in front of the camera..So I will post our experience tomorrow and add some pictures soon!! Should be fun!!!! You can check out Sarah's work on her site at www.sarahmurray.com . She is amazing..Look at the famous people she has shot!! She is actually in the process of starting her wedding photography company, which will be more of an editorial style vibe for weddings..Super cool. I too will help and do makeup for that when possible here or in Vancouver... Yay!! :)

Did Lisa of Bella Fotographia Today

It was so great to see her..She is so sweet..She wanted really dramatic but beautiful makeup..Which is my fave to do..I love to make people look dramatic but also really pretty..I call it the red carpet look..She did look quite stunning, if i do say so myself!! lol :) She actually started crying when she looked at herself and said it is exactly what she wanted!! Yay!! She also said a few other "words" and couldn"t believe she could ever look like that !! Well of course she could, she is really pretty..So another successful day, and she is off to give my cards to Blush Salon now too!!

Wedding trial Today

I just finished doing a wedding trial for Marlisse. She is getting married in Sept in Cobble Hill on a apple orchard. So fun!! Her trial went great..She came here with her mom and her 8 mth old baby Kayleigh... She doesn"t wear much makeup so we did a nice fresh look with a bit of shimmer on her eyes.She will wear false lashes for her wedding day for her first time :) Her photographer Lisa Favaro, referred me to her..I am actually doing Lisa"s wedding June.5th and her trial here this Saturday as well ..
